Big Event Weekend At The Track

Just a quick reminder that this weekend we have 2 events taking place at The Track in Portreath, Cornwall this weekend. Saturday 29th August - National King of Dirt Series - final round of 2009 The final round of the year will be the decider for who is crowned The King of Dirt 2009, spectating is free and there will still be plenty of general riding time so normal entry prices apply. Those wanting to enter the King of Dirt will need to pay an additional (£5 for Open and £10 for Elite) We will be opening at 10am and closing at approx 7pm Registration for the competition is from 10.30am - 12 noon, with the competitions starting at approx 2pm There will be an end of year presentation (with new Trophies) for the King of Dirt riders at the Portreath Arms at approx 8.30pm Sunday 30th August - Tonkins Backyard Jam Competition Round 2 of 3 for 2009, with the usual line up of competitions (Under 12s No Pro, Under16's No Pro and Open) with prizes kindly donated by KONA, VANS, PLAIN LAZY AND PROTEC. Again The Track will open an hour earlier than normal at 10am, with competitions and general riding taking place throught the day. Normal riding prices apply with competition entry fees only £3. Also some of our Elite riders will be doing a display during the day. Spectator Entry is free.
